I strongly believe responsibility is the cornerstone of awakening, and that this awakening allows us to take ownership of our own lives.

We play a role in everything that happens to us. We co-create with the universe, through thoughts, prayer and being present in the moment itself…. Aware of the whispering voice…. The more we connect to the moment, the more we start to trust our intuition and are able to recognise truth. Living instead of surviving requires vitality.

Good starting points are:

  • The general living pattern; includes awareness of how you eat, sleep, move, breath and think.
  • Consciousness of how you treat yourself (in your mind) will lead to an intense contact within yourself, the world and the people around you.
  • Contact with one’s body will strengthen your sensitivity of your own limitations preventing an overactive nervous system which can lead to stress; the largest cause of most diseases.

It takes courage to make the right decisions and increased vitality leads to a greater ability of finding creative solutions for all of life’s challenges. Vitality for me is an energy level, a sense of feeling alive, light and liberated within the body and therefore the spirit.

Personal growth always requires extra effort. Concentrating on oneself in a way which matters and being there for each other is important as we influence each other by being who we are. Yoga is about this inner-connection.

The advantages of regular yoga practice are:

  • Strong immune, gland, nervous and lymphatic system
  • Stimulated blood circulation providing a greater feeling of being alive
  • Improved posture
  • Reduced back pain
  • Greater flexibility
  • Less fear
  • Increased confidence
  • A stronger and limber body
  • Greater intuition
  • Less re-active
  • Ability to accept reality as it happens
  • Higher libido
  • Easier going and stress resistant
